Macau , HK trip - Day 1

We booked the noon flight to macau ... flying jetstar 3k575

Tats me at the airport wearing the hoody that porky hubby bought for me

having lunch at burger king

And its really far far gate away

Having a cup of coffee before boarding

getting on board the plane

Taking off soon

After a 4.5 hours flight or so , i think, we arrive at macau.

The airport was smaller compared to singapore's .... There's a visitor information centre where we got a few maps but didnt manage to find a good map of macau.

We took a cab just outside the airport and took 20mins to arrive at our HOtel .

Our room 1715 , Hotel Royal, macau

by the time we unload our luggage and left the hotel, it was already getting dark.
THe hotel provided us with one copy of the map which was rather useful.

walking down the slope from the hotel

just few blocks down

few shops already closed so we went and search around for food stalls that are in the back alley.
FOund this stall which sells really good noodles.
although the bowl was not very huge, they really gave me alot of mushrooms

after our dinner, we decided to walk around the casinos.
This would be grand lisboa?

actually , there's a really good short cut from left of the hotel, but we didnt get to explore that route and took the longer way.

beautiful lights

brightly lit signs all over the place.
Lotsa goldsmith and pawn shops around.

we just stood outside, never went in to any.

we crossed an underpass and manage to find out way to fisherman's wharf

the Roman colosseum replica
