Taiwan Trip ~ Day 2 Beitou Hotspring泡温泉

Day 2 in Taiwan! Yeah! Woke up so early in e morning... the sun rises up pretty early in taiwan.... shinning thru the window...

Heehee... morning deardear wake up earlier than me.. ...

Travelling From Ximen Station to Taipei Main station and then switch to Danshui Line...

Heading to Beitou for our Hot Spring Soaking session.

Beitou station is similar to tanah merah station.. but 4 way instead of 3.

Need to change train to Xin Beitou at Beitou station...

Inside the smaller MRT towards Xin beitou...

The train is much shorter in length... Heng there is this friendly nice auntie who told us that the train is shorter so we have to move towards the back of the track...as we were waiting at the other end.

There is actually free shuttle services to some of the Hot spring resorts in Xin beitou at Mrt stations. For Asia Pacific Hot Spring Resort, they have shuttle services at Beitou as well as Xin Beitou station.

But we wanted to take alook at the "places of attraction" nearby so we decided to walk to the Hot spring resort from Xin Bei tou station... It's quite a distance though.. and the weather was really hot, deardear was almost ready to take off his tshirt and walk naked on the road up.. haha

First stop you will see as you walk out of Xin Beitou MRT towards the hot spring resorts would be...... Ketagalan Culture Centre..

Nothing much inside though.. hehe. just empty tubs that were used for hot spring bath in the olden days.....

On our way towards Asia Pacific Resort, we walked pass Hell Valley and decided to take a look.

ooo.... Look at the steam... its hot

Close up view of the hot spring at Hell valley~ cant boil eggs now already.. used to be able to cook the eggs here.. but come to think of it.. I may not dare to eat the egg that is cooked here.

Finally ! We reach Asia Pacific Hot Spring Resort!!... Yay!

Its really hot.. 37 degree out here!

The sandy hut (which I believe is for decoration purposes only)... hah.

On weekdays there is discount ... for 2 pax private outdoor hot spring 1hour cost us NTD1000, usual price is NTD 1250

Need to deposit your shoes at the counter where you will each be given a basket of bathrobe, towels and slippers.

Our Outdoor private hot spring.... Its hot... 41degree celsius 泡温泉了！！
I barely went in for few seconds and had to get my butt out of the pool.....

in the end , I only soak my legs .. haha...
deardear manage to soak in it for a while.. haha..

The private outdoor hotspring area comes with shower area....

And Toilet bowl.. hehe...

There is two chairs up the steps for resting .. mineral water are complimentary...

10mins before your soaking time is up, they will give you a call. hehe...

A memorable experience~ Our first Hot Spring bath.. hehe

Danshui , Fisherman's wharf ~淡水与渔人码头

After soaking in the hotspring, we are now well on our way to Danshui to have lunch!
Taking the Taipei MRT is so easy....


Beitou Mrt --->Fuxxinggang-->Zhongyi-->GuanDu-->Zhuwei-->Hongshulin---->Danshui

There are shops seling accessories, local delicacies.

being all wet and sticky and hands full of bags of Iron eggs and packed Muah chees for our relatives back in singapore ..... we decided not to go shilin night market straight but instead take the MRT back to Ximending and have a shower back the hotel... hehe

On our way back to hotel, my baby grabbed Dunkin Donuts from across the streets......
